Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the State.

The learned APP, on instructions, submitted that the trial has commenced and two witnesses have been examined. 3.
The learned counsel for the applicant, in view of the order dated 12th July, 2023 passed in Bail Application No. 609 of 2023 in the matter of Sanjay Kondas Srinivasan vs. The State of Maharashtra, seeks leave to withdraw the application. The learned counsel further submits that the applicant may be granted liberty to revive the prayer for bail in the event the trial is not concluded. 4.
By an order dated 12th July, 2023 this Court has directed the trial Court to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of six months, without seeking further extension.

In the circumstances, the application stands dismissed as withdrawn.

The applicant is, however, granted liberty to revive the prayer for bail in the event the trial is not completed within a period of three months from the date of this order.
