The orders impugned in the above Petition are passed in RTS proceedings relating to Mutation Entry No.6796 which has been effected in favour of the Respondent No.1. It is well settled that mutation entries are made for fiscal purposes and do not confer title. If the Petitioner is claiming any right in respect of the property in question, it is open for the Petitioner to adopt appropriate civil proceedings. If any such civil proceedings are filed, needless to state that the same would be tried on their own merits and in accordance with law. With the aforesaid directions, the above Writ Petition is disposed of.
