By an order dated 27.10.2016, the applicant was granted interim relief. A bare perusal of the First Information Report would reveal that the offence as alleged against the applicant falls within the purview of Section 506 of the Indian Penal Code and according to me Section 506(2) will not be attracted for the alleged threat advanced by the applicant. Section 506 of the Indian Penal Code is non-cognizable and bailable offence.

In view thereof, the applicant has made out a case for release him on bail. Interim relief granted by an order dated 27.10.2016 is hereby confirmed.
