DATED : 13th APRIL 2023 P.C:- Mr.Sandeep Karnik was appointed through legal Aid to represent the appellant and Advocate Vishal Kanade was appointed to represent respondent no.2.

When the Appeal was ready and directed to be listed for hearing, Advocate Kedar Patil filed his vakalatnama on 23/8/2019.

2/2 3 APEAL 300-20.doc Learned proxy counsel appearing for Mr.Kedar Patil has instructions to make a statement that the appellant is not desirous to prosecute the Appeal and he seek it's withdrawal. Since the statement is coming from the counsel who has filed his vakalatnama and who take up the responsibility of the said statement, I deem it appropriate to permit the withdrawal.

Apart, the appellant has addressed communication through the Registry of the High Court where he has stated that the punishment imposed upon him is acceptable to him, and therefore, he is not desirous of prosecuting Appeal No.300/2020. The communication to that effect dated 22/3/2022 is placed on record.

Since Mr.Sandeep Karnik was appointed through Legal Aid, the Legal Services Authority shall make the payment of the legal remuneration due and payable for the dates which he had put his appearance.

Appeal stands disposed off as withdrawn.
