The applicant has filed an application bearing no. 478 of 2018 seeking pre-arrest bail in Crime No. 74 of 2016 registered with Lonikand Police Station, District Pune. By an order dated 13th March 2018, this Court (Coram: P.N. Deshmukh, Retired Judge) had granted interim protection. However, on 24th July 2018, when the matter was being heard by this Court (Coram: Sadhana S. Jadhav, J), the learned Counsel for the applicant had upon instructions sought liberty to withdraw the application. The liberty was granted and the application seeking pre-arrest bail was withdrawn.

The applicant has renewed his prayer seeking pre-arrest bail in Crime No. 74 of 2016 registered at Loni Police station for the offence punishable under section 419, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of Indian Penal Code.

It is the contention of the learned counsel for the applicant that although the applicant is available he has not been arrested by the police. Considering the fact that the offence was registered more than 5 years ago. The applicant shall surrender before the concerned Magistrate on or before 21st February 2022 and file an application seeking enlargement on bail. The applicant is protected till 5.00p.m. of 21st February 2022. In the eventuality, the applicant does not surrender before the Magistrate, the Lonikand Police Station, Pune shall arrest the applicant in Crime No. 74 of 2016 4.
