In pursuance of Order dated 10th November, 2022, the Commissioner of Police Mira-Bhayandar, Vasai-Virar Police Commissionerate, District Palghar has filed his affidavit dated 6th December, 2022. The said affidavit is accompanied with necessary documents including the directions issued by said Authority to the concerned Police Officer with respect to inquiry into ADR No.16 of 2022. The Commissioner of Police has also stated that, the Investigation of the present ADR will be carried out by Homicide Investigation Unit of Crime Branch of MiraBhayander, Vasai-Virar Police Commissionerate. He has stated that, adequate investigative resources have been made available to the Officer assigned with the case and the said inquiry will be monitored by Deputy 1/2

In view of above, according to us, as of today nothing further survives in the present Petition.

We grant liberty to the Petitioner to approach the concerned Deputy Commissioner of Police, who is monitoring investigation of the present ADR in case he gets any further information or relevant clues with respect to the investigation/inquiry of ADR No.16 of 2020. 3.
