Heard learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and the learned Counsel appearing for the Respondents. In these writ petitions, the Petitioners have challenged the recommendations of the University Grievance Committee and the resolution adopted by the patilsr 1 / 2
Management Council on 22nd January 2013 to keep said recommendations pending till the Chancellor decides on the amended statutes submitted for his assent.

Subsequent to the filing of these writ petitions, the Management Council has accepted the recommendations of the University Grievance Committee by passing Resolution on 4th August 2015. The Management thereafter filed various writ petitions challenging the resolution dated 4th August 2015. Challenge was mainly on the ground that the recommendations of the University Grievance Committee came to be accepted without affording an opportunity hearing to the Petitioners therein. Those writ petitions came to be disposed of by the order dated 20th July 2016. By the said order [passed in W.P. No.
11901 of 2015 & other group matters], we set aside the resolution dated 4th August 2015 passed by the Management Council and remanded the matter back to the Management Council to take fresh decision after affording an opportunity of hearing to the Management as well as to the concerned private persons. The present Petitioners are covered by the said order. The present writ petitions are therefore rendered infructuous. Hence, writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous. [SMT.
