Having heard learned counsel for the respective parties, we deem it convenient to dispose of this petition by directing Respondent No.3 - Education Officer, Pune Zilla Parishad, Pune, to decide the proposal dated 5.7.2012 (Exhibit "B/1" to the petition) submitted by the Headmaster of Nathnagar Vidyalaya, Boripardhi, Taluka Dhaund, District Pune regarding grant of approval to the petitioner's post as expeditiously as possible, and in any case within four weeks from the date or receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.

It is made clear that we have not gone into merits of the matter and Respondent No.3 shall decide the said proposal independently, on its own merits and in accordance with law. 3.

In order to enable the Education Officer to comply with this order, the petitioner shall remain present before the Education Officer, Pune Zilla Parishad, Pune, on 2.4.2018 at 11.00 a.m. along with a copy of this order as also a copy of the said proposal/representation.
