Rule. By consent of the parties, Rule made returnable forthwith and heard finally at the stage of admission. 2.
This petition is filed for a limited purpose that the petitioner's passport has expired on 20.6.2017 and he needs a new passport, however, the criminal case i.e., R.C.C. No.1337 of 2011 in relation to C.R. No.I-84 of 2008 registered with the Economic Offences Wing, Wagle Estate Police Station, Thane (West) is pending against him. He has made an application in 26.4.2017 praying that
wp.4399.2018_12..doc the learned J.M.F.C., Thane, to issue no objection for issuance of passport. He submits that the learned Judge has not yet decided the application. He seeks direction that the said application be decided.

Learned Prosecutor submits to the orders of the Court. 4.
The petition is made absolute with a direction to the learned JMFC, Thane to decide the application of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from today. 5.
Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
