Heard learned counsel for the applicant.

This is an application for transit bail. In my opinion, the application is misconceived. The offence alleged against the applicants is registered with the Women Police Station, Khammam, Telangana under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 in connection with F.I.R. No. 39/2022. 3.

My attention is invited to the notice under section 41A of the Code of Criminal Procedure issued by Inspector of Police, Women Police Station, Khammam. Now that the

24. aba 3057.22.doc notice has been issued, it is for the applicants to appear and attend the Investigating Officer of Women Police Station, Khammam. The apprehension of the applicants that they will be arrested can be taken care by virtue of the provisions of section 41A itself as the Investigating Officer has to comply with the provisions of section 41A before effecting arrest. The applicants's apprehension that they will be arrested without notice is not therefore well founded. In any case, they can approach the jurisdictional Court in Telangana for appropriate reliefs.
