Learned counsel appearing for the Respondents, at the very outset, stated that the Petition has been rendered infructuous in view of the fact that an order has been passed on 20th February 2023 granting promotion to the Petitioner as a Deputy Accountant. He further stated that the Petitioner would be entitled to retain his due seniority. In that view of the matter, the Petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.

In case any cause still survives, it would be open to the Petitioner to approach this Court again.
