The applicant was enlarged on bail on the condition that he shall execute P.R. Bond of Rs.25,000/-

Rane * 2/2 * SR.10-APPP-969-2017 Friday, 20.10.2017 with one surety in the like amount. It appears, he could not furnish surety to the tune of Rs.25,000/- and therefore sought modification of the order dated 17th November, 2016. This Court, vide order dated 10th February, 2017 was pleased to modify the order dated 17th November, 2016 whereby the applicant was directed to be enlarged on cash bail for a period of six weeks and was directed to furnish surety within such period. That order was passed on 10th February, 2017.

In the present application, he seeks further extension of time to furnish the surety and seeks six weeks time for the same. Considering the facts of the case, as a matter of last chance, the extension of time for a period of five weeks is granted to furnish the surety and as such he be enlarged on cash bail till then. It is further made clear that, there will not be further extension of time. With this observation, the application is disposed off.
