At the outset, the learned APP, on the basis of written instructions from the concerned Officer, makes a statement that during pendency of this petition, the petitioner died on 10.03.2016.

The learned APP has tendered across the bar report prepared by the Superintendent of Nashik Road Central Prison, Nashik which is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification.

Upon perusal of the contents of the said report it appears that the petitioner, while undergoing sentence, died on 10.03.2016. 4.

The petitioner had grievance against the Police Inspector Mr. Jadhav of R. A. Kidwadi Marg Police Station, Mumbai. In view of the subsequent event of death of petitioner after filing of writ petition, we do think it necessary to further adjudicate this writ petition. Hence, the writ Ethape
