The short grievance of the petitioner in this case is that despite order under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. the Investigating Agency has not registered the MECR.

Mr. Yagnik, learned APP for the State, upon instructions from the officer present in the court makes a statement that they have not received a certified copy of the order under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. pps

21 wp 4457-14.doc and therefore the allegations of the petitioner could not be investigated.

The petitioner, in view of the above, states that he will give fresh copy of the order under Section 156(3) of the concerned Magistrate to the Santa Cruz Police Station, within period of two weeks from today. Statement accepted.

Mr. Yagnik, learned APP states that in the event the petitioner provides the certified copy before the Santa Cruz Police Station, the Santa Cruz Police Station shall enquire into the same and take appropriate decision. Statement is accepted. 5.

In the light of the aforesaid statement, grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. Petition need not be kept pending. Same is accordingly disposed of.
