The appellant has written a letter to this Court on 28th June 2023 under his signature that he has been convicted for an offence under Section 354 of the IPC and has been sentenced to undergo imprisonment for 5 years which is about to complete in near future. He further submits that he belonged to poor background. He does

8-622-2023-IA=.doc not wish to prosecute the appeal and seeks to undergo the entire sentence. He, therefore, prays for withdrawal of the appeal. 2.

The appointed advocate has also tendered copy of the said application moved by the appellant along with a covering letter from the Office of Yerawada Central Jail, Pune dated 10th July, 2023 in consonance with the application moved by the appellant. 3.

As such, the appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. 4.

In view of the dismissal of the appeal, pending application/s, if any, also stand disposed of.
