Prisoner Gopal Shetty sent a letter which is received on 16th September 2017 for his transfer to some other prison from Thane Central Prison. He has alleged harassment at Thane. He has also filed along with it copy of application moved in MCOC Case No.20 of 2015 in Special Court at Mumbai for initiating contempt of Court action. The learned APP has pointed out that as per nominal roll received by him prisoner has been transferred on 6th March 2017 to Taloja Central Prison.

Letter sent by him point out harassment and ill-treatment of a period which is after 6th March 2017 and it has been sent through Superintendent of Thane Central Prison.

pmw 2/2 wp-4302.17.doc In this situation, if he has not already been transferred to Taloja Central Prison, we direct the authorities to shift him immediately to that prison.

With these directions, we dispose of present proceedings. Copy of nominal roll is retained on record as Exhibit - A. Order be communicated to prisoner in jail.
