The applicant was granted bail by Sessions Court by order dated 2nd May 2018. He was directed to be released on bail on execution of PB and SB bond of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties. The applicant appears to have furnished surety which was rejected by the Sessions Court. Since the applicant continued to be in custody for not furnishing the surety, he preferred Criminal Application No.256 of 2018. This Court by order dated 2nd July 2018 modified the condition imposed by the Sessions Court and the applicant was directed to be released on cash bail of Rs.50,000/- for eight weeks and within the said period he was supposed to comply the condition of furnishing the surety. It is submitted that the applicant has furnished the sureties and verification report is awaited. It is therefore prayed that cash bail facility granted by this Court be further extended by four weeks.

In view of the circumstances, the order granting cash bail facility to the applicant passed by this Court dated 2nd July 2018 is further extended by a period of four weeks from today. Criminal Application No.1218 of 2018 stands disposed off. (PRAKASH D. NAIK, J.) MST
