INTERIM APPLICATION NO.170 OF 2022 AND INTERIM APPLICATION NO.177 OF 2022 Two interim applications have been filed by petitioner/applicant for leave to amend the petition to bring on record the developments subsequent to filing of the petition. Mr. Kantharia states that even reply has been filed and thereafter these applications are taken out. Having considered the interim applications, these are developments which have come up post filing the reply and in our view, considering the Meera Jadhav

2/2 218-ia-170&177-22.doc averments in the applications, it is necessary to bring those new facts on record. Keeping open rights and contentions of respondents to raise in the further reply to be filed to the amended petition, interim applications are allowed in terms of prayer clause (a).

Both the interim applications disposed.

Amendment to be carried out and amended copy to be served within two weeks from today. Further reply, if any, to be filed and copy served within two weeks thereafter.

Mr. Sridharan further stated that after the interim applications were filed, there have been further developments and he tenders draft amendment which is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. Leave to amend as per the draft tendered is granted. Amendment to be carried out and amended copy to be served alongwith the amendments in the interim applications.
