Mr. Venegaonkar, the learned advocate for the petitioner states that the petitioner has now deposited a sum of Rs.1,40,000/- in the trial Court. The respondent-wife is at liberty to withdraw the amount. Mr. Venegaonkar, on instructions from the petitioner states that the petitioner desires to withdraw the petition and would prefer to have the proceedings in the trial court decided on merits.
