This is an application seeking anticipatory bail in Crime No.206 of 2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 409 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The alleged offence has taken place in between 26.04.2016 and 17.05.2016 wherein all the three applicants in calculated manner adverted the complainant and other traders of the commodity which they have sold in open market at lesser price than one at which it was purchased or prevailing at the relevant time. 2.

The investigation carried out till date reveals that from the 1/2

(913) ABA 1958-16 applicants an amount to the tune of about Rs.75 lakhs in the matter of commodity supplied by the complainant and other two persons is to be recovered.

There is a specific role and active participation of each of the applicants in the crime in question. The offence has colour of economic crime. No case is made out. Both the applications are rejected. [N. W. SAMBRE, J.] 2/2
