1] The present application is received through jail. The applicant has submitted that though he is languishing in jail for more than two and half years, in C.R.No.62 of 2013 in Special Case No.981 of 2013 registered with DCB, CID Unit NO.12, the trial has not yet begun. Learned APP on instructions submitted that the applicant was arrested on 2nd June 2013 and the provisions of MCOCA have been applied to the said crime. She further submitted on instructions that the prosecution is intending to examine about 60 witnesses in the said case. 2] As the applicant is arrested on 2nd June 2013 and since then, he is in jail, the trial court dealing with the Special Case No.981 of 2013 is

YBG ba2206-15 hereby directed to commence the trial of the said case within six months from today and to make an endeavour to complete the same as early as possible. The application is allowed in the aforesaid terms. Registry to communicate the order to the applicant who is in jail. (A.S.GADKARI, J)
