Heard learned Counsel for the Petitioner and learned AGP. 2.

The limited grievance of the Petitioner is that the Petitioner's caste certificate was referred to the Scrutiny Committee by the Employer of the Petitioner i.e. Respondent - Municipal Corporation for verification and while it is pending, the Respondent - Employer threatened to terminate the services of the Petitioner. The communication to that effect is annexed to the Petition. Learned AGP on instructions submits that the claim of the Petitioner will be decided within a period of 3 months. We accept the statement. We direct the

11. wp 11650.19.doc Petitioner to co-operate with the disposal within a time bound period. 3.

In view of these directions, since the fact that the Scrutiny Committee has undertaken to decide the claim within a period of 3 months, it is obvious that the Respondent - Employer will not take coercive steps against the Petitioner only on the ground that the claim of the Petitioner is not verified as on date. After the claim is so decided, the parties will be governed by the outcome thereof subject to their rights and contentions.
