Heard Ms.Sana Khan, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant, Ms. Veera Shinde, learned A.P.P. and Mr. Mayur Sanap, learned Counsel appointed to represent the interest of the Respondent No.2.

After arguing the matter for some time and as this Court is not inclined to grant bail, Ms. Sana Khan, on instructions, seeks to withdraw the Bail Application. However, she submits that the Applicant was apprehended on 16th December 2021 and he is in custody since more than 2 years and 3 months and therefore requests that the trial be expedited. 3.

Accordingly, the learned Trial Court is requested to make an endeavour to conclude the trial expeditiously. 1/2

The Applicant is granted liberty to fle a fresh Bail Application after a period of eight months, if there is no substantial progress in the trial.

The Bail Application is allowed to be withdrawn and disposed of subject to above.
