Heard Mr.A.P.Mundargi, the learned counsel for the applicant/appellant. Heard Mr.A.R.Patil, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent/State.

Upon going through the evidence of the victim, that of the Medical Officers and the relevant part of the impugned Judgment; and keeping in mind that the applicant/appellant was not on bail during the trial, this does not appear to be a case, where the substantive sentences imposed upon the Gaikwad RD 1/2

4.APPANo.13842015 applicant/appellant should be suspended during the pendency of the Appeal.

The Application for suspension of substantive sentences and the release of the applicant/appellant on bail is rejected.

However, the hearing the Appeal is ordered to be expedited.

Liberty to the applicant to move the Court for fixing a date for the final hearing of the Appeal after the receipt of the Record and Proceedings with paper book.
