It is submitted that petitioner's husband was working as peon in respondent No.4- school. He expired on 23rd November 2012. The petitioner filed application dated 19th December 2012 for appointment on compassionate ground. The said application has not been decided so far. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide communication dated 4th March 2013, Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Solapur intimated respondent No.4 to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground. Even then respondent No.4 has not taken any decision nor any appointment order has been issued to the petitioner.

We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.G.P. and learned counsel appearing for respondent No.4. 4.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, we direct respondent No.4 to take appropriate decision on the application submitted by the petitioner and intimate the same to the petitioner within four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. With this direction petition is disposed of.
