ORAL JUDGMENT (PER SMT. V.K. TAHILRAMANI, J.):- Heard both sides.

The case of the petitioner is that he is undergoing life imprisonment in Kolhapur Central Prison, Kalamba, Kolhapur. Further the case of the petitioner is that he has completed 14 years of actual imprisonment but however his case is not categorized by the State Government for pre-mature 1/2

18. WP 3852-16.doc release under 14 years Guidelines which have been issued by the Government under Section 433-A of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Learned APP on instructions states that the case of the petitioner has been categorized by the State Government by order dated 17th November, 2017 and he has been placed in category of 4 (e) of the 2010 Guidelines. In this view of the matter, nothing survives in the Petition. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
