P. C. :

1.

This application is taken out for extension of time for complying the condition of furnishing surety in terms of order passed by this Court on 26.09.2017. This Court on 26.09.2017 was pleased to direct the applicant to furnish two or more sureties within a period of four weeks from the date of his release. In the application the applicant has stated that he has already arranged one surety and has applied to the Registry of the Sessions Court and the same is pending at the stage of verification and he is yet to arrange one more surety which he would do within a short time. The applicant has sought extension of time by eight weeks. 2.

Considered the application and also perused the reasons stated in the application. It appears that the applicant is in the process of obtaining one suety and he undertakes to secure another surety within a 1/2

(501) APPA 1464-17 short time and is in the process of arranging the same. 3.

As far as first surety is concerned, the process is on and in view of the ensuing Diwali vacations, the process was slow down. In the interest of justice, I feel it appropriate to grant extension as prayed by the applicant for the period of four weeks and the applicant shall be duty bound to furnish two or more sureties within a period of four weeks from today.

4.

The application is disposed of accordingly.
