Petitioner No. 1 is present with his advocate. Respondent No. 1 complainant is present with her advocate. Parties state that they have settled the matter amicably. The FIR is under sections 498A, 406 read with section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. In proceedings for divorce, the parties have agreed to settle and obtain divorce by mutual consent.

On consent terms presented in court, we have obtained Talwalkar

56.wp5260.19.doc signatures of the parties again. Respondent No. 1 accepts the consent terms accordingly. She has received in court Demand Draft of Rs. 2,50,000/-.

Separate affidavit is already filed by respondent No. 1 on this line.

In this situation, accepting joint request we make rule absolute in terms of prayer clause (a).
