A joint statement is made by the respective counsel that the petition need a disposal since a settlement has been effected between the parties in the Family Court where the proceedings were pending.

In the wake of the aforesaid development, nothing survives in the Miscellaneous Civil Application and the MCA is sought to be withdrawn by learned counsel for the applicant. On the request being made, it is permitted to be withdrawn and is disposed of as such.
