In view of urgency, taken on board. 2] Having heard learned counsel for the parties, we feel that this petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing the petitioner to appear in the pending departmental proceedings initiated by respondent Nos.1 and 2 against him. We also feel that since cheque of Rs.55,909/- bearing No. 377557 dated 29th May 2000 was though prepared for being paid to the petitioner, but as the same was lost/misplaced the amount could not be paid to him, the respondent nos. 1 and 2 are directed to look into this aspect of the matter and release the payment of this amount in favour of the petitioner within one month.

2 p-503-WP-1119-14.sxw 3] The petitioner to appear before the Enquiry Officer on 3rd August 2017 at 11.00 a.m. From that date itself the Enquiry Officer shall proceed with the enquiry and complete the proceedings, as expeditiously as possible, but not later than three months from the date of appearance of the petitioner before him. 5] Needless to say that the petitioner shall cooperate for completion of the enquiry within aforesaid period of three months. 6] The relevant documents, if not already supplied to the petitioner, be supplied by the Enquiry Officer to the petitioner on or before 3rd August 2017.
