Petitioner is challenging the advertisement dated 14-09-2023 on the ground that the appointment of the petitioner made earlier as 'Police Patil' in OBC (Male Category) is subject matter of Writ Petition No. 508 of 2023 and therefore, filling up the post of Police Patil now, is likely to adversely affect the chance of the petitioner in successfully defending his right in Writ Petition No. 508 of 2023. We find that the apprehension so expressed by the petitioner is fanciful, which is evident from the nature of post advertised vide advertisement dated 506-wp-12502-2023.doc varsha

14-09-2023, impugned herein. The post advertised is of Police Patil, OBC (Woman) and whereas the category in which the petitioner was appointed as Police Patil was different, which was of OBC (Male).
