We have heard Mr. Sale, learned Advocate for the petitioner and learned AGP.

The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that father, uncle and paternal aunt of the petitioner have received validity certifcate as belonging to Thakar (ST) in 2004, 2007 and 2011 respectively.

The petitioner has also submitted proposal for validity. The same is not yet decided for more than a year. The petitioner is given admission to the engineering course. 12th November 2022 is last date for submitting the validity certifcate. The learned AGP, on instructions, submits that the Committee is proceeding ahead in conducting the vigilance, but the petitioner is not cooperating. This statement is disputed by the learned Advocate for the petitioner.

Be that as it may, we do not have vigilance report, if any conducted, while granting validity to the father, uncle and paternal aunt of the petitioner on record. It is not clear as to what is considered, while granting the validity to them. In view of that, no further orders can be passed in the matter.

However, as it is a matter of student, it is expedient that the Committee shall decide the same expeditiously. 6.

The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 14th November 2022. The Committee shall direct vigilance to be conducted immediately. The petitioner shall cooperate for expeditious disposal of the proceedings. The Committee shall decide the proposal preferably within 15 days from the date of appearance of the petitioner before it. 7.
