Learned advocate for the applicant on instructions submits that applicant is not pressing the application on merits and seeks permission to withdraw this application. However, it is prayed that the trial may be expedited. It is submitted that applicant was arrested on 20th February, 2016 for the offence punishable under Section 302, 209 of Indian Penal Code. Charge in this case has been framed on 20th August, 2017. Thereafter three witnesses were examined by the prosecution. It is submitted that the applicant is in custody for almost for a period of three years and therefore trial may be expedited.

Considering the aforesaid circumstances, application is allowed to be withdrawn. The trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within nine months from today.

Application stands disposed off.
