Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

This is a second application for bail. First bail application was disposed as withdrawn with liberty to file a fresh application after six months. 3.

Learned Counsel for the Applicant submits that there is no progress in the trial and the charge is not yet framed.

Having regard to the nature of the accusation against the applicant, the Court is not inclined to entertain the application on merits. 5.

Learned Counsel for the Applicant seeks leave to withdraw the application. He however, submits that since the applicant has been in custody since 12 September 2021, the trial be expedited.

The submission seems justifiable.

The learned Judge seized with Sessions Case arising out of C.R.No.273 SSP 1/2

22 ba 3102 of 2023.doc of 2021 registered with Shivaji Nagar Police Station is requested to make an endeavour to commence and conclude the trial in the Sessions Case as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of 9 months from the date of communication of this order.

In the event, the trial is not completed within the said period, the applicant shall have liberty to revive the prayer for bail. 9.
