Pursuant to the order dated 4 July 2018, the Chairman of the Respondent No.2-Society Shri Dilip M. Gotpagar and the Secretary of the Respondent No.2-Society Shri Ajay S. Mahadik, are present in Court. 2.

The Petitioner has already filed an Appeal under section 23 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 before the Respondent No.3Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, MHADA in respect of denial of membership by the Society. We are informed by the Chairman & the Secretary of the Respondent No.2-Society that the next date of hearing before the Respondent No.3-Deputy Registrar is on 14 August 2018. Uday.P.Kambli 1/2

In the circumstances, we dispose of the Petition by directing the Respondent No.3- Deputy Registrar, Co-operative Societies, MHADA to dispose of the Appeal expeditiously and in any event within two months from today. We record the statement of the learned Counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions from the Petitioner who is present in the Court, as well as the statement of the Chairman & the Secretary of the Respondent No.2-Society that they shall remain present before the Respondent No.3Deputy Registrar on the next date i.e. 14 August 2018. 3.
