1] Considering the nature of accusations in the subject CR, the learned APP would state that the Investigating Officer shall issue notice under Section 41A of the Cr.P.C. within a period of three days from today. Upon receipt of such notice, the Applicant shall report to the Investigating Officer within a period of seven days thereafter. 2] Upon his attendance, the Investigating Officer shall follow procedure prescribed under Section 41A of the Cr.P.C., and record reasons in writing in case he is desirous of effecting arrest of the Applicant. The Investigating Officer shall also give advance notice of 72 hours in case he comes to the conclusion that custodial interrogation of the Applicant is necessary.
