Heard Mr.Ponda, the learned Senior Counsel for the Applicant and Mr.Venegaonkar, the learned Special Public Prosecutor for the Respondent.

A temporary bail was granted by the PMLA Court to the Applicant, inter alia on the ground of the illness of his wife and the Applicant was directed to surrender by 15 December 2021, which was further extended to 3 January 2022 by order N.S. Kamble page 1 of 3

dated 30 December 2021. While doing so the learned Special Judge has observed that there shall be no further extension. 3.

The Applicant is aggrieved by the said condition and is also seeking time till 1 February 2022 for surrender on account of the medical condition of his wife and the fact that the examination of the minor children is scheduled in the interregnum till 18 January 2022.

Mr.Venegaonkar, the learned Special Public Prosecutor in all fairness stated that looking to the circumstances reasonable time may be granted to the Applicant, subject to an undertaking to surrender on the date as may be decided. 5.

Having considered the circumstances and the submissions made, time to surrender is extended till 1 February 2022.

The Applicant shall file an undertaking before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court within one week from today that the Applicant shall surrender on 1 February 2022 before 11.00 a.m.

The Criminal Application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
