Heard the learned Advocates for the parties. The learned AGP representing Respondent Nos.1 and 2 on instructions states that the Appeal filed by the Petitioner shall be disposed of within a period of six weeks from today and in the meantime, the election to the post of Upa Sabhapati will not be conducted. The statement is accepted. It is clarified that if the order passed by the Minister for Rural Development is against the Petitioner, the same shall not be implemented for a period of one week from the date of service of the order on the Petitioner and/or his Advocate.
