IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

CRIMINAL APPELLATE JURISDICTION APPLICATION NO.1485 OF 2017 IN APPEAL NO.248 OF 2012 Firoz Abdul Pathan .... Applicant Vs.

The State of Maharashtra .... Respondent WITH APPLICATION NO.1484 OF 2017 IN APPEAL NO.1390 OF 2011 Inden @ Mohiddin Sayyed Ali Shaikh .... Applicant Vs.

The State of Maharashtra .... Respondent Mr. N.N. Gavankar i/by Ms Sharon Patole for the Applicant in both applications.

Ms M.M. Deshmukh, APP, for the Respondent-State. CORAM: S.C. DHARMADHIKARI & SMT. BHARATI H. DANGRE, JJ.

DATE : NOVEMBER 07, 2017 P.C:

1.

The applicants were granted specific liberty to seek such reliefs as are permissible in law and including premature

suresh 902-APPAG-1485.2017.doc release from detention.

2.

The applicants go on making successive applications for enlargement on bail pending disposal of their Criminal Appeals. Surely, we do not think that the liberty granted by this Court in its earlier order was in vague or general terms. When this was brought to the notice of Mr. Gavankar, appearing for the applicants, he fairly states that he would not press these applications but would avail of the liberty by instituting substantive proceedings. We, therefore, dispose of these applications with the same liberty.
