The learned counsel appearing for Respondent Nos. 1 and 3 to 5 states on instruction that the acquisition proceeding in accordance with the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 have been initiated and the amount of compensation payable to the Petitioner in respect of the land already taken in possession would be determined and the same will be paid to the Petitioner within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the statement made, we direct the Respondents to complete the land acquisition proceeding for determining the amount of compensation to be paid to the Petitioner and make payment as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of one year from today.
