After arguing for some time, learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks time to withdraw this petition with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh claim for validation of his caste as 'kasab'. 3.

With the aforesaid liberty, petition is dismissed as withdrawn. It is made clear that while taking the fresh decision, the Committee shall not be influenced by the order dated 20.8.2016 and the Committee shall be free to take the decision on its own merits of the claim. It is also open for the Committee to reach to the same
