1] Interim Application is filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 3 months from the date of its expiry i.e. 30.09.2023.

2] Heard the learned counsel for the Applicants and perused the Application.

Since the learned counsel for the Applicant contend that the 1/2

(64)IA-1000-2024.doc proceedings before the Arbitral Tribunal are at the fag end i.e. at the stage of arguments and the Respondent is duly served through private notice, but has failed to mark appearance, I deem it appropriation to allow the Application by extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of three months from today.

It is made clear that within the aforesaid period, the Arbitrator shall conclude the proceedings and pronounce the Award. Interim Application stand disposed off in the above terms. [BHARATI DANGRE, J] 2/2
