Heard. This is an application seeking condonation of delay in filing the appeal. The applicant has been convicted by the Sessions Court, Greater Bombay in Sessions Case No. 488 of 2016 for the offences punishable under section 363 and 364 of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer R.I. for 7 years. 2.

For the reasons assigned in paragraphs 2 and 3 of the application, the delay of 1 year and 101 days is condoned in the interest of justice. Criminal application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a) and stands disposed of.
