The Petitioner has approached this Court, through the present writ petition, with a grievance of discontinuation of his services as medical officer. The Petitioner also sought a relief of release of his salary for the period of January, February and March 2017 and also sought interest on the delayed payment. .

During the pendency of the writ petition, the Petitioner has received entire salary for the aforesaid period. 2.

The learned counsel for the Petitioner at this stage submits that the said grievance raised by the Petitioner do not survive, however since his services have been discontinued, he has preferred a representation to the concerned Authorities seeking continuation of his services on the post of medical officer patilsr 1 / 2

from February 2017. The learned counsel for the Petitioner has placed on record a copy of representation preferred by him to the Commissioner, Health Services cum Mission Director, National Rural Health Mission, Mumbai. Since the representation is preferred by the Petitioner, the learned counsel for the Petitioner having taken instructions from the Petitioner, seeks liberty to withdraw the writ petition as far as prayer clause (b) is concerned with a request that the representation preferred by him to the Commissioner, Health Services cum Mission Director may be directed to be decided expeditiously.

In such circumstances, we dispose of this petition with a direction to the Commissioner, Health Services cum Mission Director, Mumbai to consider the representation preferred by the Petitioner dated 18th June 2019 expeditiously, preferably within the period of three months.
