The limited prayer in the petition is to direct the respondent no.2 - Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee to decide the Application of the Petitioners for caste validity certificate expeditiously. The petitioners had earlier filed Writ Petition No. 3570 of 2013 and by order dated 5th March, 2014 the impugned order therein was set aside and the matter was remanded and four months time was granted to the respondent no.2-Committee to decide the Application afresh. 2.

The Learned AGP states that the Application of the Petitioners shall be decided by the Respondent no. 2 - Committee within a period of six months from today. We accept the statement of the learned AGP. 3.
