Today when the matter came up for hearing, we find that the only prayer of the Petitioner to direct the Respondent No. 1 - the Competent Authority of the Urban Development Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai to consider and take appropriate decision in regard to the Petitioner's claim as mentioned in her application (Exhibit D).

Having regard to the aforesaid limited prayer, we are inclined to dispose of this Petition by directing the Competent Authority of the Urban Development Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai to consider and take appropriate decision in regard to the Petitioner's claim as reflected in Exhibit D. 4.

The Petitioner is at liberty to submit fresh detailed representation with the supporting documents before the said competent authority. The Petitioner to submit the representation along with the copy of the letter dated 23rd October, 2007 addressed by Respondent No. 2/Competent Authority and Dy. Collector, Kolhapur to Respondent No. 1/the Additional Secretary, Mantralaya, Mumbai. On receipt of the same, the Competent Authority of the Urban Development Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai shall examine the Petitioner's claim in view of the letter(Exhibit F) and decide the same in accordance with the law.

The decision as aforesaid be taken within three months from the date of receipt of the said representation from the Petitioner. 2/3

The Petitioner to remain present before the said authority on 20th September, 2016.
