By this writ petition, the applicant raises an issue of jurisdiction in view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the matter of Dashrath Rupsingh Rathod Vs. State of Maharashtra (2014) 9 SCC 129. However, in view of the Negotiable Instruments (Amendment) Ordinance 2015, this petition does not survive. The issue of jurisdiction will be decided by the Magistrate in view of the amended law. Writ petition stands disposed of as it does not survive.
