Having heard the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and the learned AGP for the State, we are of the opinion that this petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing Respondent No. 3 - Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Kolhapur to decide the representation/proposal dated 4th October, Vishal Parekar 1/2

prod-26-wp-12817-2016.doc 2013 filed by Respondent No. 5 (Copy of which is annexed at page 22 to the Petition) which is received in the office of Respondent No. 3 - Education Officer in October, 2016, if not already decided, as expeditiously as possible, and within the period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order.

Till the Petitioner's claim is decided, the Respondent-State is directed to maintain the status-quo as it exists today in respect of the post occupied by the Petitioner.

The Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
