Heard learned counsel for the Applicant.

The Applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under Sections 13(1)(d) r/w. 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act and has been sentenced to suffer R.I. for two years and to pay fine of Rs.1,500/-, in default the Applicant has been sentenced to suffer S.I.

for two months; and for the offence punishable under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act to suffer R.I. for one year and to pay fine of Rs.1,500/-, in default has been sentenced to suffer further S.I. for two months.

Learned counsel for the Applicant states that the Applicant was on bail during trial and has not abused his liberty. He further submits that even after the Applicant's conviction, the Applicant's sentence has been suspended for two months and as such he is presently on bail. The Appeal has been admitted by a separate order today and is not likely to come up for hearing in the immediate near future.

Considering the aforesaid, the Application is allowed. The Applicant is enlarged on bail on the following terms &

conditions:-

(i) The applicant be enlarged on bail, on executing PR Bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount;

(ii) The Applicant shall inform the concerned Police Station his present address and mobile/telephone numbers and shall also inform the said Police Station in case there is any change in the address/mobile/telephone numbers. 5.

Accordingly, the Application is disposed of on the aforesaid terms.

Parties to act on the authenticated copy of this order.
