The application is moved for an expedited trial of the proceedings i.e., C.C. No.49/DV/2012 pending before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 53rd Court, Mulund, Mumbai and dispose of the same in a stipulated period. It is contended by the applicant that the applicant is 87 years of age and he is facing prosecution under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, filed by respondent No.2, who is his daughter in law. 2.

No notice is required to be given to the other side in view of the prayers made herein. So also, considering the age of the

appln.566.2018_26.doc applicant, the learned Magistrate is directed to proceed with the matter and conclude the proceedings under the Act on or before 15.4.2019.
